Asus Zenfone 2, Now Comes Cheaper With Different Processor Variants

 

After previously introducing Asus Zenfone 2 to the public earlier this year. This time, the Asus manufacturer is reportedly preparing a low-cost variant of the Zenfone series. This is quite interesting because this latest Android phone has not been released to the public. However, leaks about cheap variants of this series have started to appear in cyberspace. The presence of this cheap version is rumored to increase sales of Asus smartphones in world markets. As a result, Asus manufacturers present products at lower prices through the use of different processors. Then, what are the leaked details regarding this cheap Android phone?

Asus Zenfone is one of the mainstay products for Asus in competing in the tight world gadget market. So it's no wonder, this cellphone is equipped with an attractive design and even tough specifications.

For design, this latest variant reportedly comes with the exact same design as the original version. You will get an elegant and sturdy design like most Asus products. However, for dimensions, this Android phone will reportedly be slightly smaller than the original version. This can be seen from the news that the screen size is only 5 inches with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels compared to the original version which has a screen size of 5.5 inches with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The engine parts of this variant will be very different compared to the original version. In the latest Asus Zenfone 2, manufacturers will carry processors from Mediatek and Qualcomm while the original version uses Intel processors. Even for RAM usage, manufacturers will only use 2GB of RAM. The operating system will still carry the latest Android system, Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Asus vendors will reportedly produce smartphones with Qualcomm processors that are larger than those using Mediatek or Intel processors. However, Asus manufacturers will still make variants with Intel processors the main selling point in their product range.

Turning to features, all the latest Android phone variants will carry the 4G LTE network. All features include 16, 32 and 64 GB of internal memory and dual cameras. 13 MP behind and 5 MP in front, also embedded in this product.

According to rumors, the cheap version of the Asus Zenfone 2 will be released in the range of only 2 million. For Indonesia, all variants of this new product will arrive in April.
